Prices include VAT and cover cars, small vans and 4x4s inside our standard area. Figures in lighter type depend on the tyre. The rest are fixed, and we stick to them. Run-flats, low profiles, 19-inch wheels and up, and anything that needs a second fitter cost extra. We'll tell you how much on the phone before we set off.
With mobile fitting, the tyre bay comes to the car. The van carries the tyres, a wheel balancer, new valves, weights and a calibrated torque wrench, so the job we do on your driveway is the same one you'd get on a ramp at a garage.
It saves you half a Saturday sat in a garage waiting room, and if the car won't move at all, it saves you a recovery truck.
We're two vans out of Birmingham, working a rough circle around the M42. We're small enough that whoever quotes you is usually the one who turns up.
The balancer, torque wrench, valves and weights are all on the van, so nothing gets bodged and you won't need a second visit.

It helps, but no. The size is moulded into the sidewall of the tyre already on the car and looks like 205/55 R16 91V. If you can't find it, or the tyre's in pieces, give us the registration and we'll look up what the car left the factory on.
Fitting is £29 a tyre and a British Standard puncture repair is £35. The tyre itself depends on the size and the brand you pick. Before we set off you get one figure covering the tyre, fitting, valve, balancing and disposal, and there's no call-out fee.
Often, yes. If the damage is inside the repairable central section of the tread, is small enough, and the tyre has not been driven on flat, it can be repaired to British Standard BS AU 159. We take the tyre off the rim and check it from the inside, because that's the only way to know for sure. If it fails, the repair fee comes off the price of a new tyre.
No. There's no way of knowing how long a part-worn ran underinflated or whether it's been badly repaired. Everything we fit is new, road legal and carries a full EU label for wet grip, fuel economy and noise.
Anywhere we can get the van safely alongside the car on reasonably level ground: driveways, office car parks, supermarkets, laybys. We can't work in a live motorway lane. If you're stranded in one, get out of the car, get behind the barrier and ring 999 or your recovery provider first. Call us once the car's somewhere safe.
